What experience level do you teach?

I teach all levels—from complete beginners just starting out to advanced players preparing for auditions, performances, or university-level study. I currently have students who range from 9 years old to 77 years old! Lessons are tailored to meet your specific goals and skill level.

What styles of music do you specialize in?

I am trained and have expertise in ALL styles of trumpet. Classical, jazz improvisation, lead playing, and commercials styles. Whether you’re working on fundamentals, lead playing, or soloing, we’ll build a plan around your interests.

How long is each lesson, and how often should I take them?

Lessons are available in 30-minute or 60-minute sessions. Weekly lessons are recommended for steady progress, but I also offer flexible scheduling to fit your availability.

Where do the lessons take place?

Most lessons are conducted online via Zoom (or your preferred video platform). This allows for high-quality, one-on-one instruction from the comfort of your own home—wherever you are in the world.

However, I also have a teaching studio located in Smyrna, TN where we can meet in person if you are local!

What do I need for online lessons?

Can I reschedule or cancel a lesson?

 Absolutely! I understand life gets busy. Just let me know at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel without a fee.
